something i was working on over the summer of 2008, rising sun with japanese symbols that are going to be filling all the negative space. I am using a wood burner to put in the characters :)

one of my reference/inspirational walls with my photographs and references I use for paintings.

This was part of an assignment I had to do last spring semester (2007; sophomore year) for a Graphic Design class. We had to make three posters, and this is one that was my favorite, we had to use a quote outside of the images we juxtaposed, and a small phrase or word that was to be included in the images. For my phrase, I used "Free Speech Area" which is actually on the UCF campus in orlando, and because a huge controversy at times. The quote I used was one from Lupe Fiasco, "Every dream is designed and broadcasted from the masters to the masses"

some sketches I did during the summer of 2007 one day while I was hangin it at Chris & Kevin's pad:

these are skatches from Drawing I that I took over the summer of 2007 at MCC with David Kinsey, a Ringling teacher who is an amazing artist, and I definitely learned more from his teaching style than i could have imagined. All of a sudden it was like, wow.. i Can draw haha
